Times Square Arts collaborates with contemporary artists to present site-specific, thought-provoking work that speaks to the issues of our time in one of the world's most iconic urban places. In the past 10 years, the program has supported more than 300 artists and 250 projects all the while engaging the up to 480,000 pedestrians that traverse the square each day. Donations help support Times Square Arts' range of programming 364 days a year, including high profile sculptural commissions on the plazas of Times Square, nightly presentation of digital art from 11:57–midnight on the district’s electronic billboards, and public art engagement staff and programs.
