Jasmine / Never Sorry (for Ai Weiwei), 2011 (excerpt)
Jasmine/Never Sorry (for Ai Weiwei) was a tribute to Chinese activist and artist Ai Weiwei. DaSilva referenced freedom of speech through the jasmine fluorescence of her light graffiti.
Surabhi Saraf
PEEL, 2009 (excerpt)
PEEL presented a visual echo of the instance of an unexamined moment. Simple gestures of a seemingly mundane daily activity morphed into a complex choreography when multiplied. The effect of this process further reverberated through the multiple screens of Times Square.
Elly Cho
Visual Kinematics: a state of mind (No.10), 2011 (excerpt)
This video was part of a project series called “Visual Kinematics” in which Cho heightened the aesthetic contrast of the natural environment through black and white to evoke nostalgia for nature.
