Public Art Ambassadors
In conjunction with the presentation of Kehinde Wiley’s Rumors of War, Times Square Arts is pleased to introduce our new Public Art Ambassador team! Public Art Ambassadors are trained guides who engage the public in Times Square around our public art program. From answering questions and starting conversations to hosting hands-on experiences on the plazas, Public Art Ambassadors invite Times Square’s international audiences to discuss the art and ideas of our time.
Our inaugural group of 15 Ambassadors includes artists and educators alongside members of Times Square Alliance’s Public Safety and Sanitation teams. You can find them on the plaza daily through Dec 1, 2019 from noon–6:00pm (weather permitting) to learn more about Rumors of War and join the conversation around the work.
Select ambassadors can speak with you in Spanish, Mandarin or Urdu.
