SnackBox is the creation of Jonathan Morr and Leslie Ng. These seasoned hospitality professionals teamed up in 2011 to create the most unique food experience in all of Times Square, the world's number one tourist destination. Created with a highly designed recycled storage container, SnackBox offers “New York’s Best Street Foods,” specializing is custom made all beef hotdogs and milkshakes. SnackBox procures the best street foods from New York’s best purveyors and offers them at one convenient location in the heart of Times Square on 46th Street and Broadway.
The SnackBox structure itself was meticulously designed and manufactured in Montreal Canada. SnackBox's kitchen designer was the same one Iron Chef Morimoto used for his restaurant in the Meatpacking District. Since its launch, the unique architecture of the kiosk has won numerous design awards for its innovative approach to the delivery of food service. As a totally self contained mobile unit, it provides for all supplies and systems necessary for the full service operation of a mini-restaurant.
The founders of SnackBox have known each other for over 25 years and recently came together to develop this one of a kind unique concept. Jonathan Morr is one of New York’s most dynamic restaurateurs. Among his many successes is the famed Bond Street in NOHO, one of the City’s premiere Japanese restaurants. He is also the founder and driving force behind Republic at Union Square, an innovative Asian Noodle Bistro. Leslie Ng is an experienced hotel executive, born and raised in New York City.
