A Portuguese citizen born in Venezuela, Maria Constanza Ferreira (b. 1994, Caracas, Venezuela) is an artist practicing across a range of media including video, photography, and interactive installation. In 2017, Ferreira earned her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design as a double major in Film/Animation/Video and Graphic Design. Her work has screened internationally at places such as Slamdance Film Festival, IndieLisboa, GLAS Animation Film Festival, Exploratorium: The Museum of Science, Art and Human Perception Screening, SFO Museum, and the Imagine Science Film Festival. She is currently progressing her work in the field of Chemical Crystallography as an Artist-in-Residence at New York University's Department of Chemistry in the laboratory of the Kahr Research Group.
