Laci Jordan is an artist and creative director from Huntsville, Alabama currently living in Los Angeles. So Laci Like is an uncensored creative space where she can create content with no filter – from sharing design inspiration, documenting life, or venting about why rappers use terrible font choices. Besides documentation, she is inspired to create content due to the lack of visibility of black creatives – especially black women. Says Laci, "AKA I'm making the stuff you don't see by the person you usually don't see."
She received two Bachelors from the University of Alabama – the first in Criminal Justice, the second in Design. Since graduating, she has worked with various companies such as Walt Disney Imagineering, ABC, and most currently Creative Artists Agency. She considers herself a renaissance woman – from graphic design, illustration, photography, web design, marketing, curation and more.
"To be very transparent, being featured in Times Square is INSANE – It's obviously one of the largest marketing areas in the world and one of the best places to encourage people to vote and use your voice. In order for big results we need BIG messaging and this is the biggest. I've dreamed of seeing my work in this arena and I'm honored that it's happening and tied to a message and mission I care about."
